After studying Feng Shui and acupuncture, the word chi became very important in my life. So I began to research the exact meaning of the word. Ch'i is the energy force that permeates all space around you. It circulates in ways similar to air currents.

The word Chi comes from ancient China. People there believed that an invisible energy force was emitted from deep within the Earth. This ch'i was our life force and therefore influenced all things in our life. They believed this chi flowed through our bodies and was responsible for our health, wealth and good fortune (or lack of it).

Of the flow of the chi in our bodies was obstructed, we would experience problems. They also believed that land held chi and could positively or negatively impact our energy flow. This latter extended to our homes.
