Many of these pages are filled with poems which are designed to be healing in nature. Our subconscious minds are designed to love rhymns and rhythms. (This is why rap music is so popular.) The subconscious mind processes rhymns differently from other words. Therefore they have a stronger impact. This is why good poetry touches our souls. This enables them to help us heal emotionally.

Some of them will bring up strong emotions. This must happen for healing to occur. Keep a journal nearby to record your thoughts and emotions as they occur.

This link contains the story of my brother's death. This event inspired many of the poems below. It also contains the story of my grief and my healing journey. Death is never easy, but life does go on. My major lesson was to learn to be grateful for the lessons I learned along the way. I hope this opening of my heart helps you heal as much as it did for me.
